Great food, eat in or take out.

Very affordable, nice portion size, and packaged neatly. The restaurant is clean and beautiful pieces of decor. I definitely reccomend.

Cuisine is always good and we dine with them(eat in and take out) frequently.

Peking Restaurant is a favorite restaurant of my wife and I. Everything on their menu is fresh and not overly seasoned. The environment is calm and relaxing. Also, the staff and servers are always friendly and attentive.

My husband and I have dined here for years. We live 30 minutes away and we are always pleased with the food and service we receive. Fresh ingredients are cooked perfectly and restaurant is very clean. Can’t wait to go back after the virus is over!!

Best food in Richmond! Big portions and great prices

We have eaten here several times. Most recently I’ve had the Cheng Du Beef which was excellent. The General Tso’s chicken is very good, and there is a spicy pork dish that is excellent as well. The servers are always very kind and respectful, and the food always comes out quickly.

Food had an off flavor. Most of the food was left there. This is not a place i will return to. No one at are table took any of the food home. The food was that bad.

This place is my favored. I go to a lot of restaurants but to this place I keep coming back again and again. The team is very warm and the cooking they serve is so delicious. I never miss an opportunity to have a good meal in this place. Highly recommended.

Great place for lunch or dinner. I went with Coworkers for lunch. The lunch menu was big and included tea and a soup or spring roll. I will be going back and bringing more friends.

Hated it. The buffet is way too sweet and too expensive, 14 dollars for one person ages 4-11 half price. The crispy duck is supposed to be roast duck but not even close to it.

I decided to eat at Peking restaurant because I was craving duck. I ordered the duck and it was delicious it was served with plum sauce that was out of this world. The prices here are very fair and reasonable. The service was good and friendly. The atmosphere is traditional Chinese. Well worth a visit.

Service and food was excellent. We had a party of 12. Everyone was very complimentary on their food choices. This was 2 months ago, will be returning soon.

Sweet and sour chicken over cooked and hard to eat. Only 3 shrimp in my dish. We have eaten here before so this was unusual for our food to be bad.

Always order delivery from here. Food is always hot and fresh even with delivery. Restaurant is normally not too busy. Sunday Brunch Buffet. Normally not too busy in the restaurant but good service. Hot tea and appetizers are good. has all of the usual American Chinese food fare. With a couple more authentic dishes.

Visiting family in Glen Allen, Va. Sunday lunch is buffet. Was very good: Velvet Shrimp, Kung Pao Chicken, Sweet and Sour Chicken + Sauce, Twice Cooked Pork, Garlic Green Beans, Pepper and Onion Beef, imperial Chicken, Crab Ragoons, Egg Rolls, etc....plus soups and ice cream and drink.Will definitely visit again!

We've been to this Restaurant at 2 of its locations in Richmond, we are always treated like family.

I love Peking! Best Tofu ever (Bean Curd, Homestyle) and just good solid service every time I go there. Also excellent for take out and delivery!!

We've had Chinese from the West Coast to the East Coast, we had it for take out based on the reviews and it was just OKAY. We had General Tso Chicken, Fried Rice, and Pan Fried Dumplings (pot stickers). The General Tso was a 9, the fried rice was a 2 (bland even after dousing it with soy sauce), and the dumplings could have been a 6 but the sauce was more vinegar than anything, watery and tart-inedible, so more like a 4 (what am I supposed to douse my dumplings in). We spent $20 on it all and it was worth maybe $11 (after taxes). We won't be returning.

Absolutely love this place for takeout and dining in ! They have the most amazing customer service ! It’s also a nice, clean, and quiet atmosphere. It’s never packed, so you can always expect to be seated. The food comes out really quickly, and it will be a lot of food ! You definitely get your money’s worth, and it’s not an expensive place either. Great quality food at a fair price.

We love this place. Great food and service. We always get the General Tao's chicken and they make the best in town. My wife likes the Hot and Sour soup and I prefer the egg drop. Also with the meal you get choice of rice white or fried. And we love the fried rice, which has a lot more flavor. Waitstaff is quick and efficient, kept our drinks filled and plenty of hot tea. We highly recommend that you try Peking Restaurant. They have plenty of free and available parking.

The food is always amazing, the service can be a tad slow. But its more than worth the weight. The lunch is cheap, the dinner a tad expensive.

Used to be my favorite Chinese restaurant when they still had the Grove Ave location. But they closed that one so started going to the West Broad location which is good but not as good as Grove. Ate only once at the Mechanicsville location and it too was good.

Still Richmond's best Chinese cuisine.

My husband and I came here for dinner tonight and had a wonderful experience. The place is gorgeous, and we actually had the entire restaurant to ourselves for our entire meal. That was rather interesting, we thought for sure a place so nice would be slammed packed tonight. My husband ordered the dinner special which includes your choice of soup, a pot of hot tea, a slice of fruit, your choice of rice and meat as well as a veggie or shrimp roll. The food was plated beautifully. I ordered white rice and general tso chicken and both our meals were juicy and flavorful. Wait staff was friendly, didnt frequent our table too often but just enough to top off drinks. All in all we enjoyed our time here and most certainly will be back for another meal here. I will include photos of our food as soon as i can!

My experience with the Peking in Midlothian has always been good. The West End restaurant off Broad Street near West End Drive was a little off of the mark. Service not comparable, considering the place wasn't really busy at all. The food preparation / quality and experience exceptional, just as Midlothian.

I ordered the General Tsos Chicken and it was awful. The meat was tough and it just didn't taste good. However, my company ordered some food from there one evening and it wasnt too bad. Either way, I won't visit there again.

Took my friend here for her birthday and it was awesome. Great prices for excellent food and a large portions. She ordered a beef meal while I ordered pork and we ended up sharing. First time here but certainly not the last. And to top off a great meal the staff was very courteous and on point

Was with a party of 20, everyone commented on how they were enjoying their food. The restaurant worked tirelessly to make sure we were served as quickly as possible. Certainly will go again.

Best chinese food in Va

Been coming here for about 15 years now and they never disappoint. They are always friendly and give you the biggest portions for the smallest prices. I have had no complaints since coming here.
